Commercial Property and Casulalty Insurance Broker

Location: Laval, hybrid work mode (telecommuting & office)

In order to support our brokers in the file placement process, Invessa Insurance and Financial Services is looking for a person with a great capacity for analysis, synthesis and a passion for insurance.

It should be noted that a hybrid work mode is possible for this position: a healthy combination of face-to-face work (in the office) to maintain good contact with the team and telecommuting for a good work/life balance!

Your RESPONSIBILITIES :

- Assist brokers in the placement of files and ensure follow-up;

- In collaboration with the brokers, establish a placement strategy;

- Negotiate renewal conditions and insurance coverage with insurers;

- Negotiate the conditions of renewals and insurance coverage with the insurers; Ensure that all necessary documentation is obtained in order to obtain favorable conditions for the placement of the file;

- Verify the conformity of the applications received;

- Keep abreast of new products offered by insurers;

- Keep abreast of new market trends and ensure the transfer of information to internal teams;

- Develop and maintain a network of influential contacts in the property and casualty insurance industry

- Coordinate the process and communicate the evolution of the file to the various stakeholders (brokers, insurers, and insureds);

- All other related tasks in connection with the placement department.

Your DNA :

- You have a certificate in commercial property and casualty insurance issued by the Autorité des marchés financiers (in force);

You have at least 2 years of significant experience related to the responsibilities of the position;
You have specific and significant experience related to investment support and insurance underwriting would be an asset;
Fluency in French and English, both spoken and written;

- Have a good knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite;

- Have a good knowledge of Sig XP software and computer systems;

- You have an excellent sense of organization and demonstrate autonomy and resourcefulness;

- You have a great ability to adapt quickly to changes and have a good resistance to stress;

- You have a strong work ethic and discretion.

- You have a strong customer service orientation;
